LASER TREATMENT

Dr. Rice, Dr. Hall, Dr. Rask are trained to use the Odyssey diode laser and keep well informed of its many uses. They utilize the laser for many procedures from gum modification to reducing the pain of cold sores.

The primary use of a Soft-Tissue laser is the modification or removal of intra-oral soft tissue. Soft tissue lasers enable minor surgical periodontal procedures and decontaminate the area at the same time. There is less chance of infection, and some soft tissue procedures around the gingival can be completed without anesthesia. An additional benefit of the laser technology is its ability to reduce the pain and longevity of cold sores and fever blisters.
