Our skilled and friendly staff is our greatest asset. They are dedicated to providing excellent service to all of our patients. All of our hygienists and dental assistants are licensed professionals who take continuing education courses every year to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Communication is an important part of dental care, so please feel free to ask us any questions you may have along the way.

Linda Mehlig, Licensed Hygienist

Linda graduated from Portland Community College in 1983 and has worked at Laurelwood for over 25 years! Linda’s passion is to make sure that she can help educate and encourage patients to be proactive in their dental health. She has many patients that schedule their appointments far in advance just so they can be assured a spot in her chair! Aside from adoring her patients, she also loves dogs.

Lisa Taylor, Licensed Hygienist

Lisa graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1991 and has worked at Laurelwood for over 10 years! Lisa’s patients appreciate her infectious laugh, gentle touch and caring ways. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at their beach house on the Oregon coast.

Tiffany Horst, Licensed Hygienist

Tiffany graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1999 and has worked at Laurelwood since 2000. Dental health has been a priority and interest for Tiffany from an early age as her father was a dentist. A self-proclaimed “craft-queen”, Tiffany’s bubbly attitude brings a lot of sparkle to our team!

Michael Kunkel, Licensed Hygienist

Michael graduated from Clark College in 2007. He was a longtime patient of Laurelwood before he decided to become a hygienist! Mike’s attention to detail is a true asset to any patient’s dental needs. Besides spending time with his wife and teenage daughter, some of his interests and hobbies include bicycling, basketball, building puzzles and putting on magic shows for children.
